I made the best cupcakes of my cupcake baking career. Literally the best!!! I knew they were going to be fabulous when I tasted the batter.

Do you eat the batter? I always do. My better half does not, which I don’t understand it. But I don’t push it on him because that just means a few extra tastes for me.
Anyway, champagne cupcakes are a gift the baking gods. They are light and airy thanks to the bubbly. They are also tastefully delicious thanks to the champagne flavor. I even frosted them with champagne frosting. I may or may not have gone a little crazy with my love for champagne. But in the end it was a genius decision. The cupcakes were a huge hit.
I can guarantee I will not be waiting a whole year to make these again. Who said champagne is only for NYE eve!? Not this girl!!! You can find the recipe here.

YUMM!!! You even decorated them perfectly. I may have to try this one day soon… Valentine’s Day perhaps??
I ALWAYS try the batter, I mean every good cook tries their food as they’re cooking right? Same rules apply to baking I say!
YUM!!! I’m totally going to make these
delish!! I sometimes try the batter, but never the kids beacause david, having a background in food safety, freaks out! haha! the kids ask “are there eggs in it?” everytime lol!
Pretty cupcake! Looks just as good as a Sprinkles cupcake. Maybe even better.
And even though I know that I shouldn’t, I usually sample the batter. It’s often too yummy to resist.
I love the photo of Charlie Belle and Greta supervising you in the kitchen. You make a cute three-some.
